Sponsored Walk
At our annual dance on Friday 14th May 2010, RWM Bro. George Reid was delighted to present a cheque to Head Teacher Anne McGrattan of James McFarlane School in Ardrossan for £1000, raised by the Brethren from our sponsored walk.Anne said: " We are delighted to receive such a generous donation. We will be putting the money towards paying for the upgrading and maintenance of the sensory room. It will also contribute towards replacing old outdoor play equipment."
" We hope these two projects will be completed after the summer holidays and the school is very grateful to the Lodge for its support."
RWM George would like to thank all those who took part, sponsored the walkers and for all donations
given. Also for all who attended the annual dance where a special prize of a bottle of Johnnie Walker Gold was raffled raising a further £122.08.
Jimmy Hutchinson Memorial Trophy
The domino tournament was held on Saturday 1st May in the club. The eventual winner was Charlie Hutchinson JNR and runner-up Bro. James Donohoe. Congratulations to Charlie, who incidentally is Wee Jimmy's nephew.

Visit to Observance Lodge 686
After the very Successful visit in early June by the Brethren from Nashville the Worshipful Master of Lodge 686 extended an invitation to Visit Nashville sometime in the future.
After Communication between the lodge Secretaries a date has been arranged, this is for the visit to take place from 11th to 18th of May 2011, and Lodge 686 have requested that we carry out an exemplification of the Master Masons Degree.
This visit is subject to the approval of PGL of Ayrshire, Grand Lodge of Scotland and the Grand Lodge of Tennessee. and if approved is open to Brethren and wives/partners.
